EVER WONDER MUSIC
A “science you
can sing to” class where curiosity blossoms and friends are
made! Little scientists put on Curiosity Capes and go on
adventures inspired by Captain Curiosity, who encourages them to
explore, discover and wonder through stories, songs, games,
dances, puppet shows, creative play and more. Come join the
fun! Take-home materials include a CD, story book, instruments,
shadow puppets and Curiosity Cape!

JUNIOR
PRESCHOOL
Junior Preschool is for curious kids who are not quite ready for
full-time preschool. The program helps young kids make
their first transitions to separation, learn the structure of a
classroom, build trusting relationships with teachers, and
develop friendships. Junior Preschool combines our weekly
Little Lab and Ever Wonder Music programs with child-directed
exploration at stations including water and sand table play,
puppets and dramatic play, math and science toys, a play store,
arts and crafts and more. Ages 2-3.5. Gradual separation.
1.5 hrs,

 LITTLE
LAB SCIENCE
Little Lab Science uses songs, stories,
art, imaginative play, creative movement and hands-on science to
inspire your child’s natural curiosity. The complete Little Lab
program consists of eight 10-week sessions, each building on
concepts in chemistry, physics, life science, earth science,
space science and engineering. Each class offers a unique set
of take-home materials that allow little scientists to continue
exploring at home.
Ages 2-5. Younger kids attend

MATH LAB
A
great class for kids looking for alternative ways to learn math,
this class uses art, games, music, puzzles, models and other
hands-on activities to reinforce age-appropriate math SOLs,
including basic math(add, subtract, multiply, divide),
fractions, measurement, estimation, graphing, sorting,
classifying, patterning and geometry. Math Lab also develops
spatial and analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Take-homes include unique math tools, games and puzzles for
practicing at home.
Ages 5-7 &
8-10. 50 mins. weekly. 10 weeks.

ADVANCED
SCIENCE
Advanced Science is a small class
available by application only, designed for kids who have
completed our Big Lab program or who can demonstrate science and
math proficiency similar to Big Lab grads. Miss Angela, an
inspiring young teacher and degreed scientist, will work with
our advanced scientists to solve various science, math and
engineering challenges, including developing bio-fuels,
investigating alternative energy sources, applying forensic
science methods, studying the impact of pollutants on local
ecosystems and designing robotic applications.
Ages 8+. 50 mins. weekly. 40 weeks.

 BIG
LAB SCIENCE
Big Lab Science picks up where Little Lab leaves off, using
hands-on science, art and games to reinforce SOLs and inspire
curiosity and creative thinking. The complete Big Lab program
consists of eight 10-week sessions, each building on concepts in
chemistry, physics, life science, earth science, space science
and engineering. Big Lab also builds skills in graphing,
measuring, estimating, patterning, sorting and teamwork. Unique
take-home materials allow young scientists to continue
experimenting at home.
