EXTENDED CARE

About:  We offer pre- and post-camp child care for enrolled campers.  Spaces are limited, so please reserve your spot early.  Call 703-723-9949 or register online with your camp.

Schedule & Fees:

Winter Break Camp:

Morning (8:30-9:30 or any part): $6/day

Noon* (12:00-1:30 or any part):  $6/day

Evening* (4:00-5:30 or any part):  $6/day

Summer Camp:

Morning (8:30-9:30 or any part): $30/week

Noon* (12:00-1:30 or any part):  $30/week 

Evening* (4:00-5:30 or any part):  $30/week

Single day care cannot be reserved in advance, but may be purchased for $6 on the day of camp, subject to availability.

Policies: 

Your registration is not complete until Curiosity Zone has received all required paperwork & payment, and is subject to availability.

Child care time will be spent engaged in supervised, active, independent play with educational toys, videos and books.

Child care services are offered at a fixed rate; they cannot be charged by the hour.

Children must be signed in and out of care by a designated adult.

Child care is available only for children enrolled in a Curiosity Zone camp that begins or ends immediately before or after the period for which child care is requested.  Children staying over the lunch hour should bring a sack lunch and drink.  (Kids will also have a snack during camp provided by the C-Zone.)

From time to time, kids may go outside the Curiosity Zone facility accompanied by a camp counselor, but will remain within 100 feet of the Curiosity Zone at all times.  Under no circumstances will a child be allowed to enter a moving vehicle or walk in the parking lot while under the care and supervision of the Curiosity Zone.

It is essential that children be picked up on time.  Parents will be assessed a late pick-up fee of $15 per child for every 15 minutes that the parent is late until the child is picked up.

The emergency information, releases and other information provided on your child’s Curiosity Zone camp registration form will be applied to and extended through the applicable child care period.

Refunds:

Summer Camp:  Payment is non-refundable after May 15.  However, store credit will be issued after May 15 for cancellations made 2 weeks prior to camp.
