CAMP POLICIES  

WEATHER POLICY:  In case of winter weather, the C-Zone may cancel camps if, in its sole discretion, it believes road conditions present a hazard to its customers and employees. All cancellations will be announced on our website and on our store phone at 703-723-9949 as soon as the decision has been made. We will make every effort to schedule makeup camps for camps cancelled due to weather.

Registration and Payment:  Your registration is not complete until Curiosity Zone has received all required paperwork and full payment.  Registration is subject to availability.

Refunds:

Winter Break, Spring Break & Student Holiday Camps

• Canceling or moving between camps two weeks or more prior to camp:  Refund or change permitted with no extra fees.

• Canceling less than two weeks before camp:  Store credit, less a $15 administrative fee.

• Moving between camps less than two weeks before:  A $15 administrative fee will be charged.

Summer Camp

• Canceling before June 1 -- Refundable, less a $75 administrative fee. No cash refunds after June 1.

• Moving between camps before June 1 --  No fee.

• Canceling after June 1:  Store credit, less a $75 administrative fee. 

• Moving between camps after June 1:  A $75 administrative fee will be charged.

• Membership fees are not refundable once the discount used.

Schedules, Missed Classes & Make-ups:  Because the activities in our camps are different each day, and camp lasts only one week, we cannot schedule make-up for camps.

Sick Kids:  We reserve the right to send home any child with a fever or who otherwise appears to be infectious.

Camp Changes & Cancellations:  Camp activities and take-home materials may vary slightly from those advertised.  We reserve the right to cancel a camp and refund your money or combine age groups if fewer than 6 children are registered.

Drop-off and Pick-up:  A responsible adult must sign your child in and out of camp each day.  Children must be signed out within 10 minutes of the end camp.  Parents will be assessed a late pick-up fee of $15 per child for every 15 minute interval thereafter until the child is picked up. 

Medical Needs:  The Curiosity Zone cannot store or administer medicines to campers or participate in toileting.  All campers must be toilet trained.
