The natural curiosity of toddlers and preschoolers make them perfect little scientists.  Our kid-sized science lab and highly-acclaimed hands-on programs invite little ones to explore their curiosity -- developing a solid learning foundation in science, math and beyond.  Our programs are great for preschools, playgroups, day care programs and others looking for a fun, educational (and messy!) outing for little ones.  (Ages 2+)

Ever wonder where you can take a group of curious kids to do messy, self-directed, hands-on science experiments?  We've got just the place – our well-equipped, kid-sized science lab!  Our highly-acclaimed hands-on science programs are both fun and educational -- perfect for scout troops, home-school groups, elementary schools, day care centers, play groups and more.

I Can Cook! Kids make their own edible concoctions while learning about basic chemistry (liquids and solids, solutions, freezing, melting). They’ll make their own ice cream and concoct candy “worms in dirt,” then eat their concoctions on placemats they’ve made!  They’ll also experiment with mixing, stirring, measuring and “cutting” at several hands-on learning stations.

Motion  Commotion. 
In this high-energy physics lab, we’ll explore inertia, gravity, propulsion, trajectory, potential energy, kinetic energy and more by building and experimenting with water-powered boats, wind-up spool racers, air-powered rockets and self-propelling “squids.”

Under-the-Sea Explorers.  Kids go on an undersea adventure as they learn all about marine life and oceanography!  They will observe an erupting underwater volcano, examine sea critters under jumbo magnifiers, “test” water, make goggles and a snorkel, experiment with sea shells and lots more!

Land & Sea Blasters. In this “explosive” earth science lab, we’ll explore how geysers, volcanoes and tornados are formed while doing some really cool (and messy!) bubbling, fizzing, foaming, erupting experiments. 

Wobble Bobble.  Kids learn about basic physics (balancing, spinning, gravity), counting and measuring through a variety of wobbling, bobbling activities.  They’ll be amazed by the wobbleball, entranced by spinning tops, gyroscopes and balances, and excited by the crashing tower game.  They’ll also love making their very own balance to take home and show off!

Science Magic.  In this combined chemistry and physics lab, we’ll explore absorption, water pressure, air pressure, gravity, centrifugal force, static electricity, simple machines, magnets, inertia and more while learning to perform some really cool magic tricks!

We can also do several of our birthday party themes for groups of 20 or less (K-5^th grade only):  Cooking for Kids (make ice cream, apple dumplings and aquarium drinks), Spa Science (make lip gloss, body glitter and scented bath salts) and Slime Time (make bouncy balls, slime and oobleck).
